FAQ's

What is your return policy?

We here at Sleepurrz take the utmost care in the manufacturing of our hammocks.  However, as with anything, gremlins sometimes wreak havoc in the workshop and mistakes do happen.  Should there be a manufacturing defect, your hammock frame is fully warranted for two years from purchase date.  Any part of the frame that fails due to use of the hammock as it is intended will be replaced at no charge within two years.   Replacement of the hammock sling will be handled on a case-by-case basis. 

I washed my hammock sling, and it shrunk!

The washing instructions included with your hammock indicate hand washing in cold water and air-drying.  Even so, your sling will shrink slightly when washed, and may need some coaxing to fit back onto the frame.  No need to worry, as soon as kitty climbs back on it will stretch back out to it's normal shape

I ordered my hammock from another vendor, why is it shipped from you?  

Sleepurrz™ has several distributors on the web and through specialty catalogs.  Since we offer custom carving services, it's more logical for us to drop ship directly from our workshop rather than waste time shipping the finished product to a vendor. 

Why is your address and phone number not displayed on your site? 

Like most web-based businesses, our workshop in located on our property, and we prefer to maintain our privacy.  At one time, our business phone was published on the site, but many, many, middle of the night phone calls later, we removed it.  All you need do is shoot us an e-mail and we will provide you with further contact information.

Do you accept special orders for specific stains and fabrics? 

Most definitely!  Contact us first to make sure we can accomodate your needs.  In most cases, there is no additional charge for a special ordered hammock

What are your shipping policies? 

Flat-fee shipping works best for us.  Each hammock is shipped at a standard $12.00 fee.  We exclusively use DHL to ship our hammocks.  DHL has consistently provided us with excellent service and lower shipping costs than other providers.  As an added bonus, we are given the option of e-mailing the client when the shipping label is created, allowing you to track the progress of your shipment.
